What is Hemoglobin?

Hemoglobin is a very important component of blood and its function is to  transport oxygen from the lungs to the different How to Increase Haemoglobinparts/tissues of the body and  in exchange to that it collects carbon dioxide from different tissues and  transports back to the lungs.

Hemoglobin, abbreviated or scientific name Hb or Hgb, is produced in developing red blood cells in the bone marrow.  It  gives blood its red color. Low hemoglobin means low oxygen in blood. In order to compensate lowered oxygen in blood, the body tries to enhance the output of the heart. This result in many adverse conditions.

Normal hemoglobin vales are: (roughly not exactly)
